Our own Chief Foday Ajamu Mansaray and his wife Kenya Malinke Mansaray had the honor of being featured guests on “Salon Kontri Pot”, which is a show that highlights Sierra Leone history and living culture. They share their experiences of being Gullah Geechees who decided to make the journey to motherland several years ago.
We would like to extend a very special thank you to Monuments & Relics Commission, Ministry of Culture & Tourism and Africa Young Voices (AYV) television for allowing Chief and Kenya to share their story.
You can watch the latest Salon Kontri Pot episode in its entirety over at Africa Young Voices.
Also, be sure to follow Africa Young Voices so you don’t miss any future episodes.
