Belebu is a village of 1,500 inhabitants in the Tonkia Chiefdom in Kenema District of Sierra Leone. Belebu is one of the forest-edge villages around the Gola Forest, on the border between Sierra Leone and Liberia.
The Belebu Development Project is in the process of registering a local branch of “Gullah Redemption Mission Sierra Leone” (GRM-SL) focuses on providing Wells and clean water sources, Agriculture to combat food insecurity, and Cash crop sustainability, as well as Educational Support & Training, Healthcare and Mission Trips.
